We are soooooo excited to be venturing out and going to be a part of the Baldwin Main St. Farmer’s Market! The market opens June 3rd and goes to October 14th. Be sure to stop by and say hi.
Oh boy! Lots happening on the homestead…..trying to get the garden in between all the rainy days. Animals FINALLY out on pasture. With all the rain though, the pasture looks like mini lakes. Still need to work on putting up more fencing to put the boys out on pasture. Need to keep them separated from the girls-at least until I have the hair sheep all sold. Chicks, chicks and more chicks….incubating and hatching eggs. Some to sell to our Amish neighbors and some to refresh our egg layers. Took some broilers to the butcher. We are gearing up for cutting hay. After much searching, we were finally able to buy a haybine.
Daughter and I did our own redneck version of furniture restoration. We redid the patio table. Okay, I know it’s not REALLY a patio table but it was a free table that we’ve used out on the patio. Our redneck rehab cost a whopping $3.00.
Wild turkeys on the homestead. They love the crabapple tree. Our boys were gobbling fools over them.
